"I'll come with you before work," Aidan answers, squeezing Kai's knee and leaving his hand there as he slowly digs into the breakfast-dinner. He doesn't like Kai going to visit the grave alone if he can help it. It had taken so much to make sure the man didn't just completely self-destruct after his mother's passing, and while Aidan's certain Kai's not about to go off the deep end again, he doesn't need to go through difficult things all on his own, right?
