They definitely make it home soon. Slightly faster than they normally would, even, because Aidan is admittedly inspired to hurry. Still, he doesn't do anything so obvious as to push Kai to their door or pin him there for a quick kiss, but the hand at his lover's lower back is definitely unnecessary, as is the way Aidan's not looking at him and seems instead very focused on getting his keys out to get them into the house sooner rather than later.

Even when the door is locked behind them, keys set aside, though, Aidan's still not looking to Kai. His voice is deceptively mild as he shrugs off his jacket and asks, "Did you want to wash up first or go straight to bed?"
