"We've just been driving around," Kimi snorts, slouching back in his seat as he grins at Arie. "Running from Despil's stalkers. Running from my stalkers." Their families just refuse to quit, don't they? "Finding work where we can to earn an honest living. You know how it goes."
And for all the bumps and bruises, Kimi's loving this. It's the most free he's been, and he's had Despil all the way. If it weren't for the business with his mother and Kai, he would say the past couple of years have been the happiest of his life.
But hopefully he and Kai are going to be able to work through the nastiness that had been opened up between them with the death... At least, that's what he's hoping in agreeing to go back home with Despil.
"So you've been living in some cougar's lap for the past couple of years," Arie laughs as he pops his sun glasses up to his hair, brushing back ink black strands from his forehead to be held back by the frame of the shades.
"Exactly," Despil replies before Kimi has time to say anything. "I've been pimping Kimi to them as a young stud and collecting the goods."
"I knew it," Arie huffs with a light grin. "You always just wanted a boy toy to go with you on your world tour."
"Why is it automatically me who's the rentboy?" Kimi jerks his thumb towards Despil as their drinks are brought, pointing out, "He's the one with the bubble butt, same as Damian. Hell, you went after both of them but never tried me!"
Kimi's not offended at all, though, because at the end of the day, he and Arie are very much not each other's type, and they're good enough friends as is, no dicks or butts attached.
Arie gives the waitress a shameless smile that makes her blush. "Don't mind him, he's jealous of a cheeky butt," he tells her as she places their drinks in front of them.
While he flirts with the girl, Despil draws away his hand from Kimi's thigh and instead slides it over his neck, casually draping it over his shoulder and then turns Kimi's head towards himself with a finger to press a kiss to his mouth.
"That's because you're the prettiest," he says with a huff and then rolls his eyes at Arie, who is left looking at them like a proud auntie.
"You two are so cute," the asshole marks and Despil rolls his eyes again.
"I'd do you," Arie then goes on to say. "But the time you were ready to be handled, some asshole had their fingers so far up your butthole it would have been--" He yelps as Despil kicks him in the ankle under the table. "Oh, come on, where's the lie?"
"Nowhere. That's not a butthole you're allowed to talk about, though," Despil replies with a lazy smile.
"See what I mean?" Arie makes a face at Kimi. Yeah, he hadn't even thought about fucking Kimi. That's now how their friendship works. Kimi's not his type and he's not Kimi's. But that doesn't mean he can't talk shit about it.
"This is why he pimps me out to the cougars," Kimi snorts with a shameless grin still spread over his face from the kiss he'd gotten. "They're not interested in my asshole."
Kimi does wonder how Arie would handle seeing Damian, now. The two had had enough trouble keeping their hands off each other when they were younger, but now with both having grown into their own (and unknowingly more into each other's types), Kimi suspects it's going to be harder than ever to keep them separated, or for them to find excuses not to be together.
"What are you two looking forward to doing once we're back?" he asks casually. "I'm gonna see if I can get my hands on a boat and just float around for a week at least."
Despil knows what he is looking forward to do and most of it has to do with hanging out with his brother. But he doesn't say that, because it would call too much attention to Kimi's situation with his brother. Instead he shrugs with another lazy smile.
"Maybe some beers at the shallows," he suggests. "A floating cooler and some sun chairs."
Arie squints his eyes as he thinks about it. He also doesn't mention family because he likes the easy mood and doesn't want to give Kimi a bone to chew on.
"Sometimes I miss sleeping on water," he admits. "We were so many years cooped in that houseboat that I can't fall asleep without the rocking motion. Might rent one of those just because and have a long round trip around the islands."
Kimi almost suggests they rent a boat together, but remembers there's a good chance both men want to spend some time with their respective families, so he doesn't. Not everyone's on such shaky terms with their brothers, after all...
Snorting into his coffee, Kimi suggests, "You should see about working on a cruise ship next. Then you'd be golden, right?"
Despil isn't going to leave Kimi all by his lonesome. He means to kidnap both his brother and his boyfriend on many a boat trips. Arie is more than welcome to join in if he isn't too busy with his family.
He thinks it would be high time for Kai and Kimi to make up and hopes it might happen. But he's not going to be instigating any such reunion. He'll be steadily in Kimi's corner like a loyal cheerleader because he knows Kimi even though the little jackass doesn't talk much about his heartaches. Part of the reason why he's being almost clingy right now with plenty of touches and affection dealt towards him.
"That would be, right?" Arie laughs. "Can you see it? Me and all the shiny, happy, rich assholes floating about in the Caribbean sea."
"Hell yeah," Kimi snorts. "Pull the right strings and I bet you could end up on your own personal love boat with all the young, hot multi-millionaires kissing your feet while you sing sweet nothings to them."
Though he's pretty sure Arie would rather stick to one small boat with one specific blue-eyed, curly-haired pretty boy. Just like Kimi would do the same with a very similar blue-eyed, curly-haired pretty boy.
Speaking of which, he chuckles and glances over at Despil, asking, "What do you think, babe? Do you want a love boat to float around with the rich cougars?"
