So dinner? Something tightens his gut at the thought, something nervous and excited at the same time. Something worried. Damian had made it clear that he isn't interested in at least something so serious as leaving on a tour with Arie. But maybe a dinner isn't too much. Maybe he's more into it now?
"Yeah, I think I will. But are you giving me advice about how handle my love life?" Arie asks with a quirk of his brow as he gives his attention back to Ulysse. "Seems like yours has come a long way to fuck up your life."
His legs tangle up with Damian's, dragging him as close as possible before he starts to grind their cocks together, one hand smacking down on Damian's ass to urge him to thrust in earnest.
"And then we can take a boat out and find some waves," he suggests, not letting Kimi wallow in thinking about his mum for too long.
His nod is approving as he squats down to peer under the exhaustion pipe.
"You've done good," he murmurs. "No point letting your bike go even if you're driving all the time."
Then he stands up, rubbing his hands to a rag he pulls out from his pocket. "Business is lazy. Like usual. But I'll get by."
He looks at Kimi, not asking if he's staying or leaving. He'll come up with that answer on his own eventually.
Brow rising, Jay makes a point of looking to the taco truck, the sky, and then his watch before asking with dry amusement, "Isn't it a bit early for dinner?"
But he's not saying no...
Then he unplugs his own safety belt and reaches to undo Midnight's as well.
"C'mere," he commands as he shifts a bit, moving a little further away from the steering wheel on the long bench of the pickup. And as Midnight starts moving towards him, he practically lifts the man into his lap.
"What's up with you tonight?" he asks softly as he presses their noses together. "Are you feeling extra emotional because of Arie?"
He pouts a little but there's amusement and fondness lingering behind it. "I guess it has to be all right, doesn't it?"
"Might have something to do with it not being so much a love life as very questionable life decisions made in my younger and dumber days," comes the tired response because this could be Arie gearing up to try pestering him again about the Roadhouse situation.
He glances towards the coffee and muffin and asks, "Do you want me to throw something together for brunch? That's not going to last you long..." Apparently he's ready to mother hen his brothers whenever they're under his roof, regardless of how old they all get.
Damian moans helplessly into the kiss as he's drawn up and then takes that 'inviting' slap to his ass with another eager noise, grinding down hard against Arie. At this point, he doesn't care who fucks whom, because he's never cared that far. Just having Arie warm and eager against him is intoxicating as is.
But he also knows how wonderful Arie can sound when he's overstimulated, which is why Damian reluctantly breaks the kiss and stares down into the dark eyes, lips feeling swollen as he pants quietly. "... Can I blow you?" he asks hoarsely, though it's not really a question when he's starting to shift down, is it?
Kimi's grin is far easier and he answers enthusiastically, "Fuck yes. Take a cooler with some beer and just float around, too."
Drinking, swimming, and generally fooling around out on the water sounds like a pretty damn good way to spend several lazy days as far as Kimi's concerned.
"You should invite Damian, too," he suggests, tapping his foot to Despil's. "You can wrestle in the water when I'm napping."
The evaluation of his bike has Kimi quietly glowing, pleased that he did right by Grey.
"At least it gives you time to do things thoroughly insteada juggling several jobs at once," Kimi shrugs, meeting that look with a steady one of his own. "No one's been harassing you, here?"
Kimi had had rather... strong words with his family after the death of Grey's parents. Him and Kai both, really, and it had resulted in giving their friends something of an immunity from the Sinivuori clan's meddling, but he can't be sure some of the other gangs hadn't taken to causing trouble, too.
"Mm," Midnight hums, still quiet as he's dragged into Grey's lap without complaint. He shrugs and closes his eyes, resting his cheek to Grey's as he continues, "Maybe..."
His hand rises to toy with a stray lock of Grey's hair, idly winding it around his fingers, going over his thoughts again and again before he can properly answer Grey. Because he does talk his feelings out, unlike his brothers. He thinks it's healthier this way.
"Just had the thought that... you know... I can't be like Arie or Ulysse," he says eventually. "Maybe I'd've been fine on my own doing my thing with the studio and my art, sure, but dealing with the crap they do, with their work? Alone? No way in hell. I've always had you since we moved here, and... yeah. Sappiness and all, you're my rock, cher, and I'm just so grateful to have you, because without you, I think I'd be a steaming hot mess."
He wrinkles his nose and lifts his head away, giving Grey an apologetic look. "I'm being moody for no good reason. Wanna kiss it away for me, babe?"
"All right, I'll play tour guide and give you a steep discount for first-time customer and for saving my brother's pretty ass, then," Midnight counters with a snort. "Because 'some assholes' is putting it very lightly when it comes to those vultures. But Ulysse refuses to ask for help or to give in, so... I'm glad he's at least got some security, now."
He shakes his head and sets his sketchbook down for the moment, stretching his arms above as he jokes, "Guess I'd better make sure you know the way to the emergency room, just in case. Hopefully more for them than for you yourself, you know?"
"I'd apologise, but I'm not sorry at all." Smiling, Aidan kisses Kai's brow and sits up to give him room to move. "You needed the rest."
He strokes some of Kai's hair back and asks, "Do you want to wash up? I'll get the coffee started and see what we've got in the freezer."
The line to the truck moves a bit and he takes a step towards it, tilting his head as he waits to see what Jay's response is going to be.
"So, now... How long am I going to have to wait for you to tell me what's going on with the Roadhouse?" he asks firmly. "We can dance around this topic but you'll hate it and I'll hate it. Lets just get it over with."
Only when Damian asks him that with feverish eyes and mouth like a freshly opened wound, Arie practically whines at the back of his throat.
"Yes, fuck... yes," he mutters, his hands tightening in Damian's thick mop of hair. "Find some lube while you're at it. I want to ride you later."
Jay wordlessly follows, step for step, now looking towards the truck, judging that the line means it must at least be popular with the locals. "Does an early dinner mean you're aiming for an early night, though?" he asks, hooded eyes flitting almost coyly to the side as he glances back to Sean with the ghost of a smile hovering over his lips. "Or am I gonna be able to convince you to stay out a little longer for some drinks if we're not sick of each other by then?"
And he doesn't think Kimi will mind in the least his brother handing out with them when they head out there. They used to do this a lot. The four them out there for the whole day just enjoying the sun and ocean.
Ulysse sighs and looks back out along the terrace to the landscape outside. It's a typical lazy, quiet morning in the Keys, the ocean breeze making the palms sway a little, cars heard driving about somewhere in the distance. Hard to imagine the kind of chaos that erupts on a nightly basis in the same place, isn't it?
"There's nothing to tell," he insists softly. "It's the same as always. Anton or some of his 'friends' come by to cause trouble, disturb some of the customers, some fights break out, and then the night winds down and I close up shop."
Shuddering at the words as well as the fingers in his hair, Damian stills over Arie's chest and then huffs with a little laugh, "I haven't got anything on me. I, ah... haven't really needed it." Further cementing just how woefully single and not at all up for any type of mingling he's been. "Did you bring any...?"
He shakes his head at the question, knowing that Kimi and Kai have both taken steps to keep himself and Aidan covered from their family. Which he is thankful for, but doesn't think it's all that necessary. He and Aidan have their own way of dealing with the locals.
"I'm pretty safe here, like I said, the only mechanic in town."
"Sounds like a damn dream, heh..."
And maybe, just maybe, if they stay a while, Kimi would work up the nerve to go out with just Kai, too. There's a small part of him that's twisted with anxiety as well as hope that that might happen, surprisingly enough.
He squashes the thought down for the moment, though, and instead glances over to Despil with a curious gleam in his eyes. "Speaking of Damian, are you gonna head over to your dad's sometime while we're here? I noticed the goons already lurking downstairs when I got back from the shop."
"Well, gladly you don't have to do that. Alone," he says eventually, poking his nose against Midnight's wrinkling one. "I'd rather be boiled in hot oil than let you do that."
He presses his mouth to Midnight's, kissing him gently on the lips but doesn't let the lip lock turn into anything heady just yet.
"You know," he murmurs against Midnight's mouth. "You're my rock as well. You do know that, don't you?"
